Z23.8 Pix V Belt

Choosing a replacement V-belt starts with the belt code printed on the old belt. If you need a Z23.8 V-belt, the Z23.8 Pix V Belt is the one to ask about.

Z23.8 V-belt, listed as Pix.

Key details: Section letters (from the code): Z. Brand or range (as listed): Pix.

Before you order: four quick checks

• Match the belt code: compare the code printed on your old belt with Z23.8. The section letters and the length number together make the code, so compare the whole code and not only the length.
• Check the drive: if the machine runs several belts on one set of pulleys, replace the whole set together, and check the pulleys for wear and alignment before you fit the new belt.
• Check the fit and the tension: the belt must sit in the pulley groove and be tensioned as the machine maker specifies, because a slack belt slips and an over-tight belt wears the bearings.
• Switch off and lock off the power before you work on a belt drive, keep your hands clear of the pulleys, and have the work done by a qualified technician. Send us the belt code, or a photo of the old belt, on WhatsApp so we confirm the match.
