A filter drier core is the replaceable element inside a filter drier shell; it removes moisture and traps dirt in the refrigerant. Type: Drier core. Model: 1 MS. Includes: Gasket kit. Part code: 4490/A.

Before you order: four quick checks

• Match the code: compare 4490/A with the number on your old core or its box.
• Check the shell: a core must fit the filter drier shell it goes in. Send us the brand and model of the shell, or a photo of its label.
• Check the type: make sure the core model (1 MS) and the gasket kit are the ones your shell and your system need.
• Isolate the power and recover the refrigerant before you open a filter drier shell, follow the manufacturer's instructions and evacuate the system after the work. Send a photo of the old part or its label on WhatsApp and we confirm the match.
